Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes, then poke holes in them with a fork.
  3. Bake the potatoes directly on the oven rack for about 45-60 minutes until tender.
  4. Once baked, cut a slit in the top of each potato and fluff the insides with a fork.
  5. Top with cheddar cheese, bacon bits, sour cream, green onions, salt, and pepper.
