Method
- In a saucepan, heat the berries over medium heat until they start to break down (about 5-7 minutes).
- Mash the berries with a fork or potato masher.
- Stir in chia seeds, honey, and lemon juice. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Store in a jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
