How to Define your Fitness Goals & become consistent ?

define Fitness Goals and be consitent

Before you start the journey in building a better you, make sure you start for the right reasons.

For setting goals is very easy. It’s being consistent enough to achieve them is where the true gold lies.

Here are my two cents to help you not only define your fitness goals, but also build consistency to make them a part of your lifestyle than see them another task or deadline:

1. INTROSPECT AND BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF

Don’t limit your goal setting purely for that aesthetic appeal. Fitness is more than just looks and body image

When you set goals also keeping in mind your health, getting fit and lean is a by product.

For when you are truly healthy, you are at your best, mentally & physically. That’s when age jus becomes a number.

2. DON’T SET SUPERFICIAL GOALS THAT ARE TOO OVERWHELMING TO BEGIN WITH.

Depending on where you starting from in terms of your physical activity and eating habits, focus on starting with small, realistic & sustainable goals

Could be as simple as getting 30mins walk everyday. This itself would be a marked improvement for a sedentary person

3. ADAPT NOT TO COMPROMISE, ADAPT TO BUILD A BETTER YOU.

Once the small goals have been set, start implementing them on a regular basis.

The point is to build up on these new lifestyle adaptations. Remember, the building is only as tall as the foundation is strong enough to build on

4. WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE QUITTING, REMEMBER YOU ARE A ROLE MODEL IN SOMEONE’S LIFE.

Your friends, family and children are impacted by the choices you make. So when you transition to a healthy lifestyle, they will very often be inspired to make those healthy choices themselves.

Be the person to bring about that positive change in their life. For that feeling of contentment will overshadow the leanest of physiques
