This is probably the most common question asked by the trainees who choose the road to fitness, and unfortunately, it doesn’t have a definite answer. So the best choice that we can make is to stop worrying about the outcome from the very beginning of the process and rather focus on the process or behaviour that would lead to your desired outcome.
You cannot command your body to lose 20 pounds of fat or gain 20 pounds of muscle, heal from an injury, or improve your cholesterol numbers on command or on a specific timeline. In other words, you can’t control your outcome, but what you can do is control the behaviors that lead to an outcome you want. Outcomes are what you want, but they don’t tell you what to do. Behaviours are the way to get there, these goals help you make an action plan that you can follow every week to achieve your ultimate goal.
Set your goals based on your compliance with habits, and that sets you totally in control of your body and its composition.
There is a difference between being fit and losing weight. At Alphacoach we make sure that your goals are based on the body composition you have, like our fingerprints our bodies are very different from each other, and hence the way each of us sheds weight differs too.
When we set realistic goals and plan the gradual progress towards them the body gets acclimatized to the routine and starts processing the information that we send to it with our routine.
In our Hyper-personalised program, we focus a lot on building habits on a weekly basis. We set goals based on your compliance to habits rather than a bodyweight number. This way you are totally in control and your body composition goals will come naturally as an outcome better compliance to the plan.
